A final note on the success of WCWS 2017

NCCR as the academic partner

Bishnu Raj Upreti,
Academic Partner

As one of the members of the academic partners (A research organisation called Kathmandu based Nepal Centre for Contemporary Research) of the 4 th World Conference, I had change to intimately engage in the evaluation of abstracts/papers, chairing of sessions and commenting/evaluating the presentations. Participation of researchers, academics, policy makers and practitioners around the world made this conference not only unique but also provided opportunities theoretical, conceptual, and methodological and policy debate; space for cross learning, sharing and establishing networks for further cooperation. I am immensely impressed with the excellent management of venue, arrangement of contents, logistics and overall administration of the conference. This conference is globally unique and especial to people working on women and gender studies. NCCR is very happy to be one of the academic partners of this great event.
